I finished the seax this evening. Today I polished the blade and etched in the runes.
(My camera has apparently decided that it needs to distort this piece, in real life the blade looks a bit longer and wider and the grip is slightly narrower)
Ack, the exact same thing is happening to me with a small broken-back Seax I'm working on. It appears to be nearly the same size (blade a tad longer than 6"). My camera makes the blade look shorter than it is and the handle looks fatter. Very frustrating!
