"New" Grinder

I spent part of the day repairing my new (to me) grinder. It had major tracking problems. I had to take it apart and reassemble it 4-5 times and make a new part and modify some of the old ones.
I REALLY wish I had fixed it sooner as it saved me almost a day's worth of work in the 1/2 hour I used it this evening. What a difference from the 4"x36" grinder.

Here it is:

It is a 1hp "Square Wheel" 2"x72" belt grinder and the latest of my "electric apprentices".

    That thing looks like a beast of a grinder! Square-wheels seems to be growing in popularity from what I've seen across the internet lately. Very nice job so far on the sword, by the way!

    I'm really happy with the grinder so far. it isn't as versatile as a KMG but it fit rather more nicely in my budget.
